Today Mommy and I visited Grant’s Farm. We took a tram ride through the Deer Park and saw lots of animals. My favorite was the buffalo and it’s baby!
I had to wait 2 rides but I finally got the sea dragon on the merry-go-round.
I get the baby goats. They were very “degressive”.
MOM, you hold the milk they are bothering me and not listening to me!
Okay, fine I will try again.
Okay, goats I have NO milk. NONE I say!
Hanging with the Mommy.
Feeding the goats again but this time from outside. MUCH better!
I got a penguin tattoo!
I met the Anheiseur Busch Clydesdales!
Then we went to the Missouri Botanical Gardens. They had a event called the Lantern Festival. There were all sorts of dragon sculptures. At night they are apparently all lit up and really pretty.
I loved looking out at all the gardens.
Thiese two dragons were about 100 feet long each and made from “china”. There were cups, plates and saucers making the dragons body and tail.
They even have a children’s garden that is all climbing and play areas.
I got hot and tired and needed a drink. Mommy thinks this was a funny way to do it!
Having fun in the fountains. Mom said I look so tall!
I made a kite and a lantern. I made Mommy draw a dragon on the lantern before I cut it apart.
Hiding in the tree. I thought it looked like a dragon!
I spent 20 minutes concentrating hard on trying to get a sweet gum seed pod open. I smashed it between rocks, logs and even jumped on it and threw it against the ground.I told Mommy I had to get it open because I wanted the gum ball that was inside. FINALLY i got it open. Sadly, there was no gum ball inside.
The wishing tree. How COOL! You took this huge gold medallion and made a wish and then threw it up into the tree.
After another long and fun day I chilled out in the pool again.
One cold and wet but HAPPY kid!
