Today marks the last day of our long Ohio stay. We head towards North Carolina tomorrow. We spent our last day playing with the neighbors and using up some of our fireworks. I love the snap caps!

The ash snakes are fun as well. This is snake rock!

Today I was just not happy. Anyone remember “ME NO HAPPY”! This was one of those mornings. I didn’t like breakfast. I didn’t like candy. I didn’t like where we parked the car. I didn’t like walking. I didn’t want to draw with chalk. I didn’t want to go in the bounce houses. I hated the touch-a-truck. I was just GRUMPY!

Leave me alone or I will punch you in the face! (yup, I really said that to Mommy.)

I finally perked up a bit not he way back to the car when I saw a petting zoo. I loved feeding the chicks.

But the ducks were far cooler. They ate right out of my hands.

I even got to ride a tiny pony. See, look, a SMILE!

Mom has a connection and we are now the proud owners of 2 of the last 3 Skylanders we are missing.

We have been busy building in the basement. Once again, we raided Great Grandpa’s old work bench and found some fun new things to build with.

Today it was near 96 and we got out the slip and slide. I am not very good at it and that makes me sad but I had fun playing in the water!

After we got cleaned up it was just too hot to play outside. We made a fort in the back bedroom and played under the bed for a long time. The cool air from the AC blows at floor level so this was the coolest place we could find.

I took another nap. Fine, I admit it… I NEED A NAP!

Last night we went to the Fireman’s Parade. It rained out most of the parade except the firetrucks and candy. We got LOTS of candy!

We came home and after the rain stopped we did our fireworks. I liked watching more than participating.

I keep telling Mommy I don;t need to nap. BUt something about Ohio just makes me NEED one! I am much happier in the evenings this week.

Oh boy, am I in love with animals. This place was my heaven! I love love loved feeding the baby animals.

Yes, that is actually a baby zebra! I think I fed it the most!

I rode a pony.

This baby giraffe lives int he house with the owner of the park.

I kept trying to call over the porcupine with a silly little clicking chant. It didn’t work.

REINDEER! What will Santa do without them! Mommy assured me that Santa has his own fleet of reindeer.

The sign said jaguar but I insisted it was a leopard.

Feeding the birds was fun as well. They didn’t even bite my fingers this time.

We fed alligators.

The muntjak is a tiny deer. I love deer.

LOOK DEER! Oh, I could stay here all day long!

I kept singing “Doe, a deer a female deer” over and over and over and over and over again.

We took a wagon ride and got up close and personal with so many large animals.

I loved the “ghost buffalo” as I called him. It was really a white buffalo. They are very rare.

We finished up feeding the rest of our carrots to the goats and alpaca. What an awesome trip!
