Legoland and a Loose Tooth!

Today we spent the day at Legoland. The park was SO empty!

My wiggly tooth had been driving me nuts. It was just hanging by a blood vessel. Mom offered to pull it but I was enjoying it for a little while longer.

We got to ride all the rides multiple times! Sometimes we didn’t have to get off!

Boating school we were able to ride two times in a row!

There were only 4-5 kids on Driving School and they just let us drive and drive until finally someone else showed up to ride.

My tooth was hurting more and I hemmed and hawed for a while and finally asked Mom to pull it.

Paynes Prairie and 4-H Forest Ecology

We went camping this weekend so B could be closer to his 4-H Forest Ecology contest.  We had a great campsite and enjoyed playing outside with the mosquitos.

We took a trip to Devil’s Millhopper and went down the 232 stairs to the bottom of the sinkhole.

Some of our friends arrived the next day and we played in the woods. I relaxed in the hammocks with my new buddy W.

I had a fun time with Dad while B was at the contest. I came by at the end to check out the contest samples and cheer on the people from out county.

B got second place. He has worked really hard for it!

Lubbers and Leaves

We were at the Pinellas County Extension office today to turn in some 4-H paperwork and we wandered around the native plant garden. The garden was packed full of lubber grasshoppers! There were hundreds or thousands!

When we got home we played in the yard for several hours. I told Mom I wanted to try using a magnifying glass to burn a leaf. We found several to use and had a fun time making our initials in leaves.

April Fools!

Mom woke us up early and said there were brownies in the oven. Oh MOM!

Then I tried to pour some Apple Jacks cereal and Cinnabon came out.

Next the milk was BLUE!

IMG_6935

I didn’t like blue milk! I told Mom it would taste funny. (apparently Dad agreed)

B and I worked all morning to trick Mom!

We finally tricker her by telling her there was a snake in the front yard and that we made ice cream. There was no snake and the ice cream was made of paper.
