We sat with our friend, Miss Gail, for the parade this year. We set up our chairs near her house and then wandered downtown to use the bathroom and have some ice cream.
I was freezing and could not warm up. I had on 4 jackets, hat and hoodie, gloves, and two pair of pants. The wind was just really biting.
I hid under Miss Gail’s chair.
I fit nicely. I was generating heat and Miss Gail said I was heating her up!
I barely made it to parade time. I was cold and cranky but having fun. I pretended to take a cat nap to give myself energy to get through until the parade got there.
I caught tons of beads and even got some really cool special big beads.
