We got the outside lights put up a few weeks ago but had to do some minor readjusting upon our return. We started the tree today. Crystal was eager to attempt to knock it over. Mom built this base a few years ago and it seems cat proof so far!
We sorted and decorated the tree all by ourselves while Mom watched.
I swear I am not trying to spank my brother! HONEST! 😉
After the tree was up we got an early gift of Lego Dimensions. We have been playing non-stop since this is our school holiday break.
The cats are checking out the decorations.
We went Sunday night down to the Botanical Gardens at the Extension Office to see the holiday lights.
We arrived safely in Asheville after a quick 10 hour drive with Grandpa hauling a haul at lightning speeds. We settled in and played on our iPads while everyone buzzed around us getting ready for more family to arrive.
Mom kept us busy with crafts and games. I managed to misplace Hawksly, my Elf Pet. I had a meltdown as I was worried how he will help Santa if I am not hugging him and snuggling him to make him more magical for Santa. We had to go to Barnes and buy a new reindeer, Frostbite, so I could help out Santa. I carry my elf pet all over… you can see her striped socks on the floor behind the fox cross-stitch. Grandma Jo will look back in Venice for Hawksly and then ship him up to me when we all get home. Hopefully he is hiding int he house someplace.
We went out to see the new Peanuts movie. The weather was rather cold.
We did take several hikes around the lake.
B and I had the playground to ourselves and for the first time in years the tire swing didn’t have a lake under it.
Yes, I walked around the house like this. In front of my cousins. I am a nutter!
Dad made me a Rice Krispy turkey for Thanksgiving! It was vegetarian!
The only sliced turkey I will eat!
I had a great time playing games with family and hanging out with my cousins Anna, Micki and Taylor.
I loved the ride home in the new motorhome. I enjoy that I am free to move about and watch the world pass through different windows.
I even got a shot at the co-pilot seat. We are all loving the new motorhome.
Mom and Dad drove up to Indiana to pick up the motorhome so we got to spend some time with Grandma Susie to start the week. We went to the park, did a Lowe’s building project and had fun playing around the house.
We had stopped by Target to pick some things up and I saw new Ninja Turtle figures. But no-one would let me buy them and I didn’t understand that! I was so upset. B texted Mom and asked what to do. Since apparently he had already found them and gotten them for me for Christmas.
The solution was to do by the house and have Grandma get them from the gift bin. They weren’t wrapped yet.
Next we were off to Venice to visit with Grandma Jo and Grandpa Howie. We went to Caspercian Beach to look for sharks teeth. We visited the Mote Aquarium. We spent a LOT of time in the pool wearing ourselves out. We made out halloween houses we didn’t make since we were on the cruise for Halloween.ÂÂ
We are driving to Asheville tomorrow and meeting up with Mom and Dad.
We had an epic time on our short Disney Cruise getaway. We loved hanging on the balcony looking for flying fish.ÂÂ
We brought along Lex on our voyage. He was great to have around.ÂÂ
Pulling into Nassau was so pretty. We enjoyed watching the ship make the tight turn in the harbor.
We met the princesses. See how excited I am!ÂÂ
On shore in Nassau and ready to explore.
Hello ship!
Exploring the Straw Market looking for the EXACT right thing to buy.
Back on board and a sneak away for a special treat with Mom. Mom had to help finish it but I did eat quite a lot of it!
We dressed for Halloween and went trick-or-treating. I was Kylo Ren from the new Star Wars movie Force Awakens coming out in December.
I see you!
Checking the haul and trading amongst best of friends.
Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay!
This is the Mickey Slide. It is my favorite slide on the ship.
I was too busy to eat most of the time so Mom pinned me down and brought me a HUGE bowl of mac and cheese. I devoured it!
We got to meet Stitch!
Our waiter was a laugh! He did tricks to amaze us.
I was so tired from the late nights and all the playing.
I loved the halloween story of the pumpkin tree.
We did pick up some of the professional type photos. This was our boarding photo. There was supposed to be a rocket launch from the space center the day we boarded but it was postponed. We had our cool space Mickey shirts on.
Still not impressed.
I love pirate night!
Finally on Castaway Cay and ready to snorkel. The morning snorkel in the lagoon I was glued to Mom as usual. But we did manage to make the entire lagoon with Lex and myself holding on to Mom.
True to form I was glued to Mom.
Suddenly, I broke free and discovered I COULD do this on my own! I was off and Mom was chasing me down to stay close.
I explored the entire stingray lagoon on my own. Mom was giddy with joy at this new found Emmerson!
Now it’s time to say goodbye to Castaway Cay. We had a lovely trip even if it was short!
