Baby For Sale…Seriously!!

Mom here. Emmerson has a new, well more defined, habbit. He refuses to sleep more than three hours at a time and then wants to play all night. He isn’t doing much sleepduring daylight hours either. We are at our wits end and can’t explain why he won’t sleep. Normally I could nurse him back to sleep if needed bit that doesn’t even work anymore!! I am getting less than five hours of sleep a night and rarely more than two in a row! I am a zombie!! He has never been a great sleeper but at least I could get him down with some cuddles and nursing!

He doesn’t appear to have teeth anywhere near coming in. He has perfected pulling up and font think that is waking him, his desire to practice! He gets plenty of practice in the day. His reflux and eczema are under control. He is a little stuffy but the sleep issues were present prior to the sniffles. I tried fleece liners in the night diaper to see if that would wick away more moisture and keep him feeling dry, no dice!! He is eating solids like a champ and is finally having regular bowel movements!

Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!

Generally he is happy.

Help!!

R we missing soMething?? Other than my sleep??

Favorite Toy

Against Mommy’s wishes I am doing things I should be doing yet. A box of pull-ups from Breighton came in UPS the other day. I immediatly pulled up on the box and was standing. Then I discovered that I could push a little and move my feet and get all around the room. This box of diapers was my “walker” for over an hour. I play with it everyday now! Who knew a simple box on carpet could be so much fun. Mommy & Daddy think it is great that I am trying to walk but wish I would slow down just a LITTLE! I just turned 7 months and I am already trying to run away!

Arrrrr.

The precious little thing that I am. So proud of myself and my new mobility.

Food Is FUN!

So, if my Grandma Susie was here for this she would ahve crawled out of her skin. I was doing a great job eating and had a little mess on my face. Then Mommy dropped her guard and I grabbed the spoon( she was using to mix the food) right out of the bowl. It was a large spoon and it was FULL of lunch!

So here I sit with my head hung in shame as I am trying to dye my skin a pretty orange.

Oh, was this not a good idea. Thank goodness Mommy fed me with no shirt on.

I guess I am pretty proud of myself. Maybe next time Mommy will put the big spoon away before sitting down to feed me with the small one. At least the kitchen sink is my bathtub right now so I didn’t have to travel far to get cleaned up! 🙂
