Uncle Matt sent us a box of rocks from his recent show. We were excited to get a piece of malachite  and several geodes. I could not wait to crack open the geodes!
Mine all split nicely and I had some amazing quartz inside.
There was one GIANT geode and after mom whacking at the thing for 20 minutes it finally gave way. It only had a small pocket in the center and was rather solid. It was still cool to look at!
