Who knew vikings were taking over the aquarium!
I found a narwhal tusk! I am SO excited. This may have been the highlight of the day for me! I have had a small obsession with narwhals lately.
I had a starring contest with this lumpfish.
The blue tongued skink was very cooperative when we took his photo. He stuck his tongue out on cue!
I have never seen so many brittle stars in one place.
I wanted to journey to the bottom of the sea with these nautilus.
I got lost in wonder and excitement int he tunnel.
I LOVE seals and sea lions so this made me a little sad to see them in tiny pools. They are well loved and cared for. I prefer them in the wild though.
This walrus was a joker. He was swimming laps. He is sneaking up on us just to do a u-turn and go away.
A mama and her baby walrus!
Oh wait, this is the highlight of my day. I love polar bears. I thought it was a bit hot for them today but they have icy cold pools to swim in.
One came over to see me when I got near the window.
There were four arctic foxes. I thought they would be brown for the summer but not these guys.
The jellyfish were just amazing. We watched and watched as they danced with the currents.
There were tons of moon jellies!
After the exhibits we played on an outdoor obstacle course. We ran a few errands and then came back to the campground and went swimming in the very cold pool. But we weren’t kicked out because of rain today!
