4am and time to load up the car to drive home. There was no snow the entire trip. We woke up this morning to a dusting on the ground. Enough to make the smaller snowman and try to sled down the grass a few times.

We were cold and tired. Can we PLEASE get in the car and drive home to warm land?

It was a very chilly day but we braved the cold to visit the Nature Center. The otters were very active and loved the attention we gave them through the viewing windows.

The bobcat was ever in his swing right by the fence. He was cold for sure!

They have a new spider area complete with a playground and climbing structure.

We warmed up inside the classroom center checking things out under the microscope.

More visits with the otters during a feeding show. The place was EMPTY so we got to talk a lot with the trainer and he made the otters really work for their food.

Not much to do today besides watching parades and playing around. We headed up the hill to the fort to play for a while. I played BAD NINJA. But I refused to tell Mommy and Grandma Susie the rules.

We built a fort out of branches and played in if for a LONG time.

Daddy helped us make a batch of Lemur Scat.

After a nice warm bath to clean up and warm up and a huge cup of hot cocoa we played with some silly construction straws until bedtime.

Welcome 2014! Grandma Jo had a huge box of decorations and hats. We all had fun playing with poppers and other crazy things.
