We spent the morning out playing in the yard in the snow. Then after lunch and before dinner Mommy suggested the sled hill in the center of town. We jumped at the chance and got all geared up. We loaded Great Granny in the car and headed to town (a whopping mile from the house).

We slid and slid some more. There was no stopping us!

We took turns going solo and as a team. Breighton liked to go backwards.

Yet again, a happy boy!

Weeeeeeeee.

We were so tuckered when we got home we inhalled dinner and read some library books and went to bed. The next day it was SUPER cold in the morning so we stayed in the house doing random crafts and playing games until it warmed up enough to go out and play in the snow.

We had Great Granny and Grandma Susie helping us color Shrinky Dinks.

Great Granny even stayed in the lines!

When lunch was over out we went! SNOW SNOW SNOW! Mommy kept telling us we needed to enjoy it while it lasted. We built a fort with windows made of ice blocks we found under the dryer vent.

I helped a bunch with Breighton’s ice fort.

We came in and got a warm bath and relaxed the rest of the afternoon. We did a lot of puzzles and played go fish and memory.

After two long days in the car we got to Ohio. Immediately we all changed into our snow clothes and hit the snow! This year I had NO fear of the snow! All bundled up…

Mommy ran me around the yard in the sled. Pretty much my only shot at the sled at the house since B kept stealing it to drag stuff round.

We came inside and warmed up and then had a belated Christmas with Grandma Susie and Great Grandma Barbara.

I got ZOOBLES from Santa. It was on my list!

Grandma Susie got us HexBugs. We LOVE them.

I was a total snuggle bug with Great Grandma. She tolerated me climbing all over her for hugs, songs and snuggles. I love it when she sings to me.

She even got used to holding Sukie (my mutantly large stuffed elephant) and me! Too bad Great Grandma couldn’t see over Sukie!

We squished pennies in the penny squisher. I did it all by myself for the first time. Breighton kept trying to help and I kept yelling at him “ME GROWN UP ME DO IT MYSELF!”

I loved looking at all the Egypt things with big brother. We got to dig around in the sand for artifacts.

Mommy said Breighton was being eaten by a hippo and I raced over (not thinking of the personal danger I was going to encounter) and grabbed B by the head and pulled and pulled…

I finally got him out! Thank goodness he was fine!

The elephant on the right kept trying to squirt us but he couldn’t spray far enough!

RHINOS!

I love the fact that I can go on most of the rides. Breighton was a super sport and rode them all with me!

The motorcycles were pretty cool because they kept doing wheelies and flipping up!

CHOO CHOO!

We fed the lorikeets. They kept attacking Mommy and Breighton. I felt it better to just watch and not FEED them myself.

A huge air trampoline. This was a total BLAST! I was flopping all over the place and laughing SO hard!

B went to see the kangaroos again so I fed the ducks, swans and birds for a while.

These ones were a big aggressive. If they got to close I stomped my feet and screamed SHOO SHOO SHOO BIRDIES!

Today we went to a candy cane hunt at the park. They hid over 800 candy canes! I had a blast finding them hiding on trees, behind rocks and hanging on the walls. I was so excited to find a rainbow colored one. I was running to show Mommy and I fell and it shattered. Mommy found me another and I was happy again.

Breighton even helped me find some.
