As Portrayed by Mom and Dad
I could NOT go to my speech class today until I finished a block project I have been planning for a few weeks. There is a bucket of blocks in the lobby at the school I go to for speech class. The teacher stood by while I wrapped up the balancing of the center block to complete my project.
We had a field trip to PIE airport today. I loved checking out the UPS cargo plane.
I didn’t want to sit in the cockpit but I was happy to watch and stand.
Checking out the cargo area was the coolest part! We learned how the storage containers are loaded and rolled down the body of the airplane.
We learned all about the airport fire department. I was grumpy because I was burning up and potentially melting from the heat.
This is the plane we were inside.
The firetruck gave us a grand send off with a spray of water!
We had a small class not he principles of flight.
Finally we exited through a cool pod system.
One last gathering under the plane and we were free to go.
