B has a friend sleep over last night and we played lots of games. We played Minecraft for most of the evening. In the morning we played a round of Dino-opoly. I can’t wait until I am old enough to have a friend sleep over.

I have to make an invention for my class. I decided I wanted a faster way to clean up my Legos. I invented a Lego scoop and comb. More using everyday objects for a new function.

The brush spit Legos all over but I found a large comb that worked well!

Now i have to design a prototype based on my creation and testing and discoveries.

Today we learned how to throw a cast net. Mr. Joe had a little one for kids my size. You can see int he background the 20 foot net! That is a HUGE get. I used the 5 foot diameter one.

After some practice in the grass catching balls we took to the pier. We caught LOTS of jelly fish, 4 mullet, and some bait fish.

We took a trip to Weedon Island to hike in the misty weather. We hiked about 5 miles total.

We dodged raindrops. Saw LOTS of crabs up in trees and even saw a raccoon on the boardwalk.

We found a gopher tortoise on the way out and watched it for a while.

After lunch and some down time we loaded up the fishing poles and went to Weaver Park for the evening to fish. I caught a GIANT pinfish!

We went to a place called Muddy Potter and learned how to using a pottery wheel to make pottery.

I really got into my art.

I had a wonderful time making my creation. I loved the feel of the clay on my hands.

My finished project. I made a drinking cup with a dragons eye and bamboo on the outside.

I put a turtle on the inside. We get to come back in 2 weeks and glaze them and then pick them up a week later.

I LOVED the Muddy Potter!
