The Magic House (Part 1)

Today I went to the Magic House with Mom. This was one of my favorite stops last summer and held true this year again.

I loved the music room.

They had a Storybook Village where you could become characters from great children’s stories. I liked being an elf and mending shoes.

DSCN2296

Bubbles were a huge hit as well. I liked exploring the different shapes the bubbles made.

DSCN2297

I blew giant bubbles.

DSCN2300

I became a giant bubble.

DSCN2304

I made a huge bubble centipede.

DSCN2308

They had a giant pin board. I kept trying to get all the pins one direction and eventually accomplished my goal. Then I immediately threw myself face first into the pin board!

DSCN2313

I learned that the more pulleys the less work you have to do to lift something.

DSCN2316

I went fishing many many many times.

DSCN2318

You can follow your fake fish down the river and back to the pond.

DSCN2320

I made Daddy an ice cream cone.

DSCN2322

I nursed a sick kitty back to health. It had a broken tail.

DSCN2324

The Water Works area was fun and wet.

CONTINUED

Goodbye Breighton

We dropped B off at camp this afternoon. I got to touch snakes, a bearded dragon and a wallaby! Mommy found a porcupine quill on the ground and I got to keep it!

IMG_7295

We stopped for dinner on the way home. After dinner I had some really yummy cookie dough ice cream toppings. Since I don’t eat ice cream I still get to enjoy the toppings!

Onondaga Caves

Today we toured Onondaga Caves. We got there a bit early to ensure we were in the first group so we weren’t late getting Breighton off to camp.

DSCN2253

The caves were massive!

DSCN2258

We saw many bats and some really neat cave structures.

DSCN2268

We were the only people on the tour. I guess everyone slept in today! It was nice to have the guide all to ourselves so we could ask all the questions we wanted.

Grant’s Farm

We were up really early since we are in a different time zone! We went out and got donuts for breakfast.

IMG_7264

We ate one in the parking lot while waiting for Grant’s Farm to open. We are glad we came early because by the time we left the wait was over an hour to get in the door.

IMG_7265

We rode the carousel.

DSCN2028

We rode a camel!

DSCN2062

This was actually pretty fun.

DSCN2074

I seem taller to Mommy today!

DSCN2083

Feeding the goats was MUCH better this year. Last year they knocked me over and tried to eat me alive.

Checking out the kangaroos.

DSCN2121

A roller skating scarlet macaw?

DSCN2137

Harris hawk that was being naughty and not flying on command.

DSCN2148

This macaw was really great at the right toss game.

DSCN2159

I loved the barred owl.

DSCN2166

The macaw thought he was the Anheuser Eagle!

DSCN2174

We fed the goats again from the outside of the enclosure. One mean goat stole my entire bottle, but Daddy was able to rescue it!

DSCN2181

We saw an elephant show.

DSCN2200

Walking the balance beam.

DSCN2216

LOOK OUT!

DSCN2228

Last stop was out to see the Clydesdales.
