We had a fun, but brief, trip to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium today after we dropped Daddy off at the airport for his business trip. We saw otters, dolphins, stingrays, a huge sea turtle, nurse sharks and lots of fish.
Breighton got to hold one of the prosthesis that Winter the dolphin wears.
I got to put a sea urchin, a Florida fighting conch and a underwater hermit crab.
This hermit crab wanted back int he water REALLY bad! He dove right back in!
We watched the Winter show. They taught us how they put the artificial tail onto the dolphin.
I thought she was just fine with out it but apparently it is too much stress on her spine.
All ready to go with her fake tail!
