Emmerson wanted nothing more than to be a turtle for Halloween. We repurposed his hat from last year and he was the happiest turtle in the world.
When we went trick-or-treat this is what he did at every house!
As Portrayed by Mom and Dad
Today I started gymnastics in the under 5 homeschool class. I was the youngest by about a year. I was NO HAPPY at first but I warmed up to the class quickly.
I loved the balance beam.
So good!
Upside down and rocking.
See how well I sit and pay attention! Mommy was so impressed. But I have been ready for gymnastics for a while. I just needed to be potty trained.
And my final move… a basket hang… all my myself on my first day! Mommy said there may actually be an athlete in the house!
Checking out the quilt garden. So pretty.
Down at the bottom getting a better view.
Having a great day out with the family.
Off we go, this time with maps, to hike in the woods.
Two minutes into the hike I told Mommy I had to go pee. She said “pee in your pull up because we are not going to find a bathroom”. I refused to do so and made it through the entire hike and all the way back to the building to use the potty. I guess I am pretty much done with the potty training stuff!
We visited a farm and I got to pet a chicken.
I waved at the pigs.
I pet the baby cows. They made me giggle.
I was terrified of the large horse. Daddy held me and I was a bit better about getting close to the horse.
Nice horse!
Running in the corn maze.
Off we go…
I zoomed back to Mom for a bit and then back after Breighton.
Pumpkins are really fun! I liked tipping them all over!
For once not screaming ME NO HAPPY! Although I did scream it quite a lot today!
Mmmm apple cider-cicles.
Trying to find the perfect pumpkin.
Too big.
PERFECT!
I also found the perfect apple.
I found the other perfect one at the top of the tree but could not reach it so Daddy to the rescue!
Plucking it from the tippy top branch.
SCORE!
Hanging out under the tree with Breighton and snacking on our picks.
All done!
