I AM SEVEN!

I was up at the crack of dawn to start getting ready for my bouncy house party. I set up all the flowers for my friends.

IMG_8051

The bouncy house showed up early so we got to play for a while before the actual party after lunch.

IMG_8061

Mom and Dad sprung for the giant one this year that had both a bouncy part and a huge slide!

IMG_8063

We opened family presents before the party.

IMG_8065

I can’t tell who was more excited. Me for the gift or B for watching me open it.

IMG_8075

We took a pretend nap in the bounce house while Daddy was working.

My friends arrived and the slide got hot. We slide down on towels.

Let the cotton candy tummy ache begin!

Daddy was a great sport and made cotton candy for everyone.

We all stuffed our faces.

Even Grandma Susie took a turn at the slide!

After the party I wanted an AFTERPARTY. I wanted all my family to go out to Pizza Hut for dinner. I think my slice of pizza says “pizza” out of cheese?

I can’t believe I am SEVEN!

Birthday Party Prep and Goodnight 6 Year Old

Tomorrow is my big day. I will be turning 7! I am having a small party. I have been working hard on take home gifts for my friends. I painted flower pots and then we went to Lowes and bought a bunch of snapdragons!

IMG_8027

I worked really hard to make sure everyone got the right flower and even decorated the pots with shells from Honeymoon Island.

IMG_8028

Time to tuck in the 6 year old for the last time. I insisted on LOTS of photos to document this momentous occasion.

RIP Fishface

How horrible to have to lay to rest Fishface the day before my 7th birthday. I loved Fishface a lot! He was my first betta fish.

I dug him a grave in the butterfly garden and added flowers and special rocks. I will miss him lots. After about 3 hours of mourning the loss I insisted with tears streaming down my face that we go to the store and buy a new fish for me.

IMG_8013

Welcome my new fish. I picked a WHITE betta fish. It is named Sir Fangar. It only took me nearly an hour going through all the fish to make my decision.

IMG_8018

UPDATE: My betta fish may be what they call a MARBLE Betta. It was white when I adopted it and now it is turning blue and red!

Family Legoland Trip

When we came in December we got 3 free passes so we brought Daddy, Grandma Jo and Grandpa Howie for a day of fun. We didn’t take a lot of photos because we were too busy having FUN! I was cold all day and not cooperative for photos. But I did go on all the coasters again, even Flying School!

IMG_7976

Still my favorite ride is Island in the Sky. I love looking out at Florida. I also enjoy checking on the progress of the new Legoland Hotel.

4H Buoyancy

Today at 4H we learned all about buoyancy. We learned what makes things float and sink. I learned the new term “flicker”. A flicker is something that neither floats nor sinks. It kind of bobs.

We made boats out of aluminum foil to see how many pennies we could keep up! I got 67 pennies. The best was 104!
