We certainly picked a chilly day to go to the zoo. It was about 35 when we arrived.
We all bundles up in our warmest clothing and were still a bit chilly.
Every place we went was nearly empty. Even the carousel.
Only a few penguins were outside their huts but none were in the water. Too cold for penguins? Well, these penguins come from Africa.
Even the safari ride was empty with no line. We walked right up and got on for the adventure. Lots of animals were out feeding or warming in the sunlight.
The meerkats were alert and watching for intruders.
I became some weird cheato monster.
And a begging puppy dog…
30 minutes later and still with a cheato hanging out of my mouth, luckily it was a different one as I was grazing on the bag.
B and I even got along for a komodo dragon photo! Notice I am picking the nose of the dragon.
I rode the tiger coaster for the first time… I made B ride it with me 25 times in a row!
Having so much fun and loving the rides, finally!
After ride #25 I told Mom that I am almost ready for Harry Potter Land at Universal Studios. I need to conquer the coasters at Legoland first!
Hanging with the bats before we head out.
