Today Breighton and I hosted a table at a local curricula sale in order to raise money for some local animal places. We cleaned out lots of stuffed animals and adopted them for $.50 or $1 donations. We made about $35 this time. It was a small event. We still have and entire bin left to work with for another event someday.
Month: July 2014
Bowling and Burgers
We went bowling today. We have a pass of the summer that gets us 2 free games a day. This was my first time not using the launching ramp. I did have to use the bumpers.
Even with the bumpers I managed to get a butterball and get the ball stuck! UGH!
We enjoyed a nice dinner out with Daddy at Burger Monger. They have good Mac and Cheese! Since we all know I won’t eat a burger, even if you paid me!
4th of July a bit Early
Yesterday we celebrated Aunt Kim’s marriage and today we celebrated the 3rd of July at the Threshers game. They had a beyond amazing fireworks show. They even had the paratroopers come in again! Grandma Jo, Grandpa Howie and Grandma Susie all came to the game to watch as well.
Even Phinley got in on the action and dressed up for the 4th of July.
On the actual 4th of July we had a BLAST with fireworks at our house. Daddy lit up the driveway and sky with some awesome things that go boom! We made homemade ice cream and hung out with family. What a great day!
Golden Rainbow Ranch
I first visited the ranch when I was a wee little kid.
Much older, taller and wiser we visited again today for a one day camp class. We fed the goats.
Pet chickens and hunted for eggs.
I had a long talk with a turkey. Mom thought this photo looked like one that was taken way back when.
Here I am surveying the land before looking for feathers.
We wrapped up our day with some painting and arts and crafts.
I always love Ms. Ali’s farm! I can’t wait to go back someday soon.
