I always love the outdoor time when we visit Grandma and Grandpa in Asheville. B and I decided to be bug hunters and dressed all in black so later we could try to sneak up on lightning bugs.
We took many trips up on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We liked having Daddy along this visit!
Breighton was even nice to me!
Hanging with Daddy checking out the view.
I was afraid of the bees in the field so I just watched B collect clovers.
We had a bit of down time and played “Where’s my water?” I am totally addicted to Cranky!
Daddy launched off fireworks while I snuggled with Mommy.
I caught lots of bugs. I am really learning how to be a great trapper thanks to my big brother.
Inspecting areas for hidden treasures or beasts is a favorite activity in North Carolina.
Learning to climb rocks like brother. Just not quite as brave as him yet.
Practicing my skills as an escape artist. Mommy told me how to do it with a quick release but wouldn’t tell B because he was being a pest!
TA DA!
Uncle Matt joined us on a few outings. I like having him visit us when we go to North Carolina. I wish we saw him more often. He is a cool Uncle!
I am learning to navigate the rocks in the river and less afraid of the cold water.
I was so excited to find a dragon hidden in the forest.
We took, probably our last ever, to Health Adventure. I played with blocks and lots of the motion toys.
We had a puppet show and giggles so hard.
Thanks Grandma Jo and Grandpa Howie for letting us stay and visit. We had a blast! Just not sure why you weren’t in any photos??
