Bare Bones Science at the Library

Today we went to a program called “Bare Bones Science” at Countryside Library. Mr. Mc Wiz was awesome. He used household items to do most of his experiments. It was really neat to see how simple things in your house can be used to show science ideas.

All the kids got to wear goggles!

He even made cleaning up messes fun!

I thought “scientifically”!

Breighton is a natural scientist.

We learned all about air and air pressure.

I loved the flipping dime experiment. If you lower the air pressure on top of the dime it will flip up into the air. HONEST!

Why doesn’t that water fall out of the glass? Hmmm….

PLaying with dry ice. Please don’t try that at home!!!

Hands on time for the Breighton and me.

Breighton duplicated one experiment. WOW!

REally folks, this guy was fantastic! He does shows for kids 5-13. He also is a tutor and can do in-home science lessons for kids!
