Busch Gardens and Jack Hanna

Feeding the ducks and other birds while Breighton looked at the kangaroos.

Waiting for Breighton to ride the roller coaster, AGAIN!

IMG_0017

Hanging out with Mommy while B climbed in Jungala. Someday I will not be afraid of the climbing.

IMG_0019

I loved crawling in the tunnels and seeing all the fish. In this tunnel if you looked straight up you could see BATS!

IMG_0022

I also met Jack Hanna. He is holding me from falling off the stage while Mommy quickly snapped a rather bad picture. At least Jack was looking good! I was so excited to see all the animals in the show. I am following in Breighton’s footsteps and becoming quite the animal lover! 🙂

Tampa History Museum

I loved hanging out with Breighton at homeschool history days. Mommy made a topographic map of my hand. I really liked learning all about maps.

DSCN0524

I helped Breighton make a really neat floor compass rose.

DSCN0526

I even made a compass out of a needle, magnets and a Styrofoam.

I even got to sort and classify like Breighton but I used foam blocks!

Florida Aquarium

With our passes to Great Explorations we get into the aquarium for free this month. As a reward for Breighton doing well at the studio we got to visit the Florida Aquarium for the entire day.

I loved seeing all the animals at a nice and slow pace. I really liked the great horned owl.

DSCN0471

The horseshoe crabs were very funny. They kept trying to climb the wall… backwards!

DSCN0472

There were a lot of turtles.

DSCN0476

We even watched a few shows. This one was about training animals. They had a SKUNK! Don’t worry he was de-scented.

DSCN0479

The jelly fish were another of my favorite animals.

DSCN0484

We were all smiles looking at all the wonderful things at the aquarium.

DSCN0486

Breighton showed me how to do the puzzles.

DSCN0487

We took a behind the scenes tour and got to see the kitchen where they prepare all the food for the animals. This was a frozen rat!

DSCN0491

We saw how all the tanks worked from above.

DSCN0493

I LOVED watching the giant sea turtle being fed! He targets the feeding stick and then gets rewarded with a fish stuffed with vitamins!

DSCN0502

I got to touch an alligator TWICE today!

After we visited with all the animals we played at the Explore a Shore outdoor spray area. Mommy was impressed I made it through 7.5 hours at the aquarium with only asking to be carried a few minutes. I zonked out as soon as I was buckled into my car seat. I slept the entire way home and then another 15 min in the car in the driveway while Mommy and Breighton threw a frisbee around in the yard near me.

Baby Animals

We visited Mill Creek Farm on our last day in Ohio. They had a baby animal birthday party going on complete with cake and juice.

We played on all the tractors.

DSCN0439

I loved petting the bunnies.

DSCN0440

The goats were awesome as well.

DSCN0442

My favorite was the duck duck duck…GOOSE! I really liked the ducks.

DSCN0443

Baaaa. I asked Mommy is this was a “baa baa black sheep”?

DSCN0449

Fuzzy Bunny! I love fuzzy bunnies!

Fuzzy bunnies at the Mill Creek Park Farm Animal Baby show

HAY! Hay is for horses not for little boys and girls. Breighton and I have been walking around saying that for weeks now. We picked it up from a few books we have been reading and now won’t let it go. Just don’t say HAY around us and you will be just fine!

From snow to tummy ick I enjoyed every moment in Ohio. I enjoy it more every time we visit. I can’t wait to come back over the summer for fireflies, fireworks and worms!
