Chalk It Up Poland and Granny Time

We went to Chalk It Up Poland today. I had a fun time draing on the pictures that Mommy and Breighton were trying to make. I liked sitting on all the chalk.

Mommy finally got me wrangled into the stroller.

We walked over to the library and I had a great time making decorated animals for the library tree.

Then I enjoyed some snuggle and book time with Grandma Susie.

We enjoyed a nice birthday lunch for Great Granny… she turned 92. I took a long nap and then spent the evening with Grandma Susie playing while Mommy and Breighton went on a date. I entertained her with my silliness and cuteness.

Parades and Fireflies

I had a fun time rolling down the hill at the church in the center of town. We got to run and play while we waited for the parade to start.

DSCN4753

Breighton and I liked playing chase 100 mph running down the hill. We would both crash… everytime!

DSCN4755

Having a good time.

DSCN4762

Asking Mommy for “apple juice” because I was thirsty.

DSCN4764

The parade was loud.

DSCN4769

Mommy gave us ear plugs. Breighton watched out for me and held my hand and kept me from the road. What an awesome big brother.

DSCN4772

Here come the firetrucks.

DSCN4776

The earplugs were a bit too big for my ears but they helped a lot. Mommy thought I looked kind of silly.

DSCN4781

More firetrucks!! weeeee-ooooooo!

DSCN4783

Goofy ear plugs.

DSCN4790

When we got home we cleaned up and went outside to catch fireflies.

DSCN4795

I had a fun fun fun time…

DSCN4799

I got tired and came to sit on the porch.

DSCN4800

Check out the bugs I caught…

DSCN4802

I curled up on Mommy’s lap to watch the fireworks and was asleep within one minute. I was EXHAUSTED! Mommy tucked me in bed and I said “nigh-night mama wub you”… Mommy thinks I said “Night Night Mama Love You”.

Ohio Again

We spent the last two days in the car and finally made it to Ohio. Mommy joked that no one was duct taped to the top of the car so it was a good trip! 🙂

As soon as we got here it started to rain but it quickly passed. Once the rain was over we went out to play in the yard… the best part of Ohio. (besides the people).

We picked sugar snap peas from the garden that we planted at Easter.

DSCN4723

They were HUGE!

DSCN4724

I gobbled them up! YUMMY!

DSCN4726

Grandma Susie helped us open some of the harder ones. We just ate the peas out of the outer shell. Mommy ate the shell too!

DSCN4728

I loved showing them to Great Granny.

DSCN4735

Then we started making deer soup again. I hunted for crab apples.

DSCN4738

I found an entire bucket full. I added mulch, bird seed and whatever else wasn’t tied down.

DSCN4740

By the end of the night I was completely exhausted. No nap today and only a brief one yesterday… VERY exhausted.

Heritage Village

I had a fun time on Breighton’s field trip today with the other home schoolers.

DSCN4692

I loved doing what all the big kids were doing. I washed some clothing the old fashion way.

DSCN4703

Adding the soap and rubbing on the board.

DSCN4706

Rinsing and hanging it all up.

DSCN4708

A real perfectionist.

DSCN4709

They played some water games… I just wanted to play IN the water.

DSCN4711

We learned how to roll hoops and jump rope… all the games they ad back in the 1850s.

DSCN4718

At the end of the day we made a “button buzzer”. Very fun! 🙂 I am still trying to figure out how to use it but I spend a good 15 minutes learning to twist it up correctly.
