 Last Day of the Year!

What did I do on the last day of 2009?

We went to Health Adventure in downtown Asheville. Daddy helped me launch balls up to the ceiling.

I played a giant game of Operation at the Grossology traveling exhibit. It was a lot of fun! :) We bought season passes because we like it so much. I am sure we will be up to visit often so they will be used! :)

DSCN3116

After naps today we played in the front yard with what was left of the snow. Mommy discovered that the snow was PERFECT for snow-people! Before it was too fluffy and now that the sun had melted it a bit it turned into perfectly sticky snow! We made a little snowman family!

DSCN3120

They were as tall as ME!

DSCN3125

If you haven’t noticed I am actually touching snow! Took me the entire vacation!

DSCN3128

Getting ready to throw a snowball at Daddy!

DSCN3131

Fuzzy but still cute! :)

Mommy is helping hand me a snowball.

Look out Daddy!

DSCN3143

Wardrobe malfunction! My mittens kept slipping off but they were so cute!! (thanks Lynn for the hand-me-downs!)

DSCN3152

Good throw!

DSCN3154

Readjusting the eyes on my little one.

DSCN3156

Breighton was making his own snow-person…

DSCN3157

I kept trying to kick it over. Eventually I gave up!

Off on my adventure! :)

DSCN3169

Happy New year to all and to all a good NIGHT!

 Cold Cold Cold Hike

Mommy bundled everyone up tight and took us for a walk. I got to ride in the stroller because more than likely I would want to be carried. Since I wasn’t feeling well this seemed the best way to get out and play.

DSCN3106

The house on the right with the little white dot of a minivan is Grandma and Grandpa’s new place! It is really fun! I like climbing the stairs! I can’t wait to ride in the elevator when it is installed! :)

DSCN3107

Mommy being silly!

DSCN3109

Another shot of the new house… (minivan in driveway)… who wouldn’t want to live here! It is beautiful!

DSCN3112

 Pretty colors!

After the drive from Ohio to Asheville the car was, well, less than pretty. Mommy found a car wash to take it through. I was fascinated by the colors on the windows. Normally I scream in the car wash but this time I was trying to find my toy camera to take pictures! :)

The Snow is Gone… or is it?

We woke up Christmas morning and the snow was mostly gone. I stayed home the next day with Grandma because I wasn’t feeling well. Mommy and Breighton took Elmo Matt to the airport and I stayed and played. The next day I was feeling a BIT better and wanted to play in the yard for a while.

I helped Breighton make some new deer soup.

DSCN3086

I eventually dumped out the wheelbarrow.

DSCN3087

Being silly. At least the weather was a bit warmer.

DSCN3090

Trying to convince Mom that I should play with the snow shovel!

DSCN3092

The vote was no so I grabbed the wagon full of the summertime toys and opted to play with those.

DSCN3093

The next (and last) day we were in Ohio we woke up to a white world. My nose was running and I was coughing very bad so I got to stay inside while Mommy and Breighton played outside. I loved sitting at the kitchen window and just watching everything. Maybe next time I will go outside. I really just don’t quite like snow…yet!

 Ohio Randomness

Here are a few pictures Grandma Susie took of our trip to Ohio :)

I really will miss Grandma Susie and Great Grandma Barbara. I had a very special time in Ohio and am really starting to understand family and all the fun we have! :)

Snuggling for a Christmas Eve story.

Mommy was out with Breighton for the evening and I got to play with Grandma Susie and Great Grandma all day! :) WOO HOO!

 Christmas Morning… SANTA CAME!

There were a lot of gifts in the morning when we got up!

DSCN3001

Santa left out stash under the little tree on the table.

DSCN3002

I had a lot of fun toys in the stocking. I got these neat helicopters!

DSCN3006

I loved the Zhu Zhu pets. Somehow Santa got Breighton’s letter and brought one for him AND ME!

DSCN3012

I got a bumble bee pillow pet and a stuffed frog!

DSCN3020

I must have been good because I also got an Elmo phone!!

DSCN3024

And my drunken cheese face… I was really excited about this mini race car!

DSCN3030

I like race cars! :)

DSCN3032

Opening my gift from Breighton.

DSCN3033

ELMO!!!! ELMO ELMO ELMO!!! Uncle Elmo? (I keep calling my Elmo Matt instead of Uncle Matt… I am a goof!)

DSCN3039

Showing my race car to Great Granny.

DSCN3044

Vroom Vroom!

DSCN3045

Now all the excitement is over and I am up for some Grandma Susie cuddles with a coloring book in her lap!

DSCN3046

I had a LOVELY 2nd Christmas! I can’t believe I will be 2 in just a few weeks!

 Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve checking on Santa on Google Earth, Doing arts and crafts and listening to stories.

DSCN2980

Mommy was reading us Arthur’s Christmas and a TON of other books.

DSCN2983

Grandma Susie told us the story “Twas the Night Before Christmas”.

DSCN2988

Soon it was bedtime. I did NOT want to go to bed!!!

DSCN2992

But finally I gave kisses to Great Granny.

DSCN2993

Grandma Susie.

DSCN2994

Uncle Matt.

DSCN2995

And Even Breighton! (btw I am saying his name now… it sounds like “brrry—on”. everynow and then I get the “T” sound too.)

DSCN2996

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

 Candyland

Grandma Susie took us to the “Candyland” at Mill Creek Park. I got a candycane and that was all that mattered in my world.

DSCN2955

Breighton liked showing me all the little houses.

DSCN2958

This one had a huge bubblegum machine in it!

We sorted fruit onto the trees.

DSCN2962

It was fun for a few minutes and then I got distracted…

DSCN2963

By a HUGE COOKIE! YUMM!

DSCN2965

There were gigantic plywood games pieces on wheels. It was silly! :)

DSCN2967

 Decorating Cookies for Santa

I am obsessed with saying “ho ho ho”… after all it is what Santa says! :)

After my nap today I got to decorate some cookies that big brother, Mommy and Grandma Susie made.

I realy likes the squeeze frosting. It works really well for little guys like me! :)

DSCN2936

Then I got to put on the colored “dots”.

DSCN2937

As you can see I did GREAT. All the cookies with sprinkles pictures below were my art works. I put the red hots on the smiley faces too! :)

DSCN2938

 I TOUCHED SNOW… WILLINGLY!

I enjoyed being pulled on a sled by the neighbor girls.

DSCN2913

It lasted for about 5 minutes and then I decided I had ENOUGH!

DSCN2915

Putting one foot in the snow.

DSCN2917

Okay, I still don’t like it. Checking to the left.

DSCN2920

Checking to the left..

DSCN2921

OKay, BYE GUYS I AM GOING INSIDE! To heck with this cold stuff!

DSCN2922

Then when no one was looking.. i just bee-lined for the snow! Go figure… it was my decision and my terms! :) But I still don’t like it all that much!
