August 28th, 2009 Yuckie
It is 1am and I have already been up three times. Poor lil bugger, huh? I am just not happy with life tonight. Finally asleep after 45 min of screaming in Mommy’s arms. Teeth?? Maybe? !

August 28th, 2009 We went to Rigsby again today for Pint Sized Picassos. there were about 15 kids there, maybe more. But as usual we were the first ones there… apparently we are the only ones EVER on time.
I got my smock on and grabbed my tools.
I was fascinated with the paint.
Rinsing the brushes was really fun too!
Rolling paint.
Sponge painting!
Finger painting!
Making stamp painting!
I really liked the stamps!
I was awesome at painting them and then flipping them to press on the paper.
This huge sponge was awesome too!
MORE PAINT!
I was the only kid that stayed focused and painted for the entire hour!!! The other kids lasted 5-10 min tops and were off running around the room! What focus I had!!!
August 27th, 2009 Today we went to Rugrat Recess. What an awesome way to spend an hour. IN AIR CONDITIONING! Actually it was really fun. Mommy’s camera battery died shortly after we got there so there were only a few photos.
The set up! I really liked diving off the foam steps into Mommy’s arms!
I disassembled hopscotch and helped some other kids relocate the little jumping beams.
Spiderman was cool to knock over!
The Wiggles were loud and really scared me! But I danced on them anyway then ran away crying.
BALLS! BALLS!!!!! I picked up and threw each and every one of them! I LOVE to throw!
Yet another fun thing to do for only $1!!!
August 26th, 2009 Mommy found some cool and inexpensive activities to do with me while Breighton is in VPK from 9-12. today we went to the Safety Harbor Rigsby Community Center for Playdough time. It is a come and go as you go class. It was only ONE dollar! I made some new friends and had a blast playing with the playdough.
My new gal-pal Abby!
Checking out some of the big kids.
The calm before the crazy. There ended up with 9 kids. Not too bad!
I really liked to cookie cutters and other things that made imprints in the playdough.
When I had enough I grabbed my chair and went walk-a-bout. I dragged the chair all over and finally found a place just for me.
And my new friend… ME! High-five buddy!
Nose kisses!
I really was entertained by that little boy in the mirror!
August 25th, 2009 Well, Breighton started VPK today and I got to hang out with Mommy one on one all day. It was AWESOME!
We have so many things planned to do!
August 19th, 2009 From Mommy:
Well, it has been 4 nights in the big boy bed. I use the term “in” VERY loosely! NIght one went super! Emmerson was exhausted from the day and went down in about 20 minutes. Then in the middle of the night he discovered he could climb out. Then the separation anxiety from Mommy kicked in. After many many many failed attempts at getting him back to bed I gave up and curled up with him. The next day we were on our way home for nap and he fell asleep in the car. We put him in bed and he slept for 20 minutes. DONE! Next day same process but worse night. Yesterday we went to Animal Kingdom for the day and he never napped. Last night was HORRID! Emmerson nursed to sleep but was up 4 times screaming and banging on his bedroom door. Finally I gave up and curled up with him on the mattress on the floor. He is miserable because he is so tired. He has little baby bags under his eyes. His mood, well it SUCKS! Today at naptime Emmerson threw a horrid fit. Screaming and rolling on the floor. banging on the door for over an hour. Obviously I kept checking on him for safety and making sure he was okay. Just ANGRY!
David put back on the old crib rail, THANKS DAVID! Emmerson was put into bed and was out within about 10 minutes of mild cries and whimpers. That is the normal sleep pattern. Apparently this is not the time for a big boy bed. Safety concerns are still a top thought. As long as we get him quickly after naps and night he should be okay. He has never put the foot on the top rails unless we dont get him right away.
UGH!
August 19th, 2009 We took a day trip over to Animal Kingdom to enjoy one of the last days of summer before Breighton started VPK.
I was extremely eager to visit the petting zoo.
But I wasn’t too sure of the animals. They are a bit frightening to me. Mommy tried to hold me and show me it was safe. I was okay with that.
As soon as she set me down I panicked and tried to run away… FAST!
Mommy sat with me on the bench while Breighton brushed the sheep and goats. I was 100% okay with that!
I met a rather large bug! I gave him a high-five and a kiss.
Nothing like high-five to a monkey!
After a fun morning we went to Downtown Disney to run off some energy in the spray fountains! I tried my hardest to keep up with all the big kids. Mommy said thank goodness my shoes are neon orange or she would have lost me!
Some of the kids too a break but not B and I!
We kept going and going and going…
Getting tired and distracted. I wanted to know where the water was coming from. This lead to an eventual blast of water in the face!
I didn’t nap all day! I was having too much fun!
August 16th, 2009 This morning we took a trip up to Wall Springs Park to play and feed the fish.
I enjoyed chilling out in the big red swing.
They have this cool spinny nose alien thing… I guess you have to see it to understand it. You spin the nose, talk into it and wait… then an alien talks back to you!
My buddy Michael (MJV).
We get along really well!
Big hugs!
Breighton, Madison, Me and Michael feeding the fish bread and cheerios.
I wanted to escape!
Waiting patiently for Breighton to bring me more food to throw in.
We attracted a turtle… Breighton thought it was his old turtle “Crush”.
I guess summer is over!
Miss Stacie and back to work tomorrow so playdates will be on evenings and weekends now. Bummer. I liked hanging with my buddies all summer!
August 16th, 2009 Today I got converted to a toddler bed.
I was very excited that I could crawl in and out of my bed. Breighton helped me put lots of stuffed animals and toys in my bed for me… which i proceeded to throw out because I didn’t want them there. But at least he was helping me!
So happy!
The first night didn’t go too bad. Considering Mommy is in with me on average 2 times a night anyway… She was only in at 4:30 and 7am!
Not too bad. When I wake up I climb out of bed and go POUND on the door until someone lets me out or comes to play!
