Emmerson’s Journey

Since Breighton had a runny nose he stayed home from school today. We went to Moccasin Lake Park and went on a nature hike. I took a nature stroll in the stroller. We saw all sorts of bugs, animals and animal tracks. I love being outside. I can’t wait until I don’t have to be in this silly stroller all of the time.

One of the many joys of living in Florida is STRAWBERRY SEASON! Our friends found a cool hydroponic u-pick place in Plant City. So we loaded up the car and headed over.

I ate a LOT of berries!

Mommy, Daddy, Breighton and I went to Disney this week TWICE! One day was very comfy.

I enjoyed snuggles with B!

After lunch and a change of clothing I got to walk on my “leash”. Mommy needs to find B’s old Monkey Hugs one because it is more comfy.

B and I poked and bothered each other all day in the stroller. So much, in fact, that I got a brand new stroller the next day.

Just in time for the arctic freeze that set it! The stroller has a cold weather booty. We never thought we would need that.

I was snuggled… no socks… with mommy on the carousel.

I preferred the warmth of my stroller.

Grandpa Howie was teaching me high-5s. I finally got it!

I even went on the tea-cups for the first time. We went really slow! B wanted to go fast but he can ride with Daddy for that!

What a fun day! Too bad it was SO cold!

But here is a photo of me and my “cake” from tonight at Grandma Jo and Grandpa Howie’s house. I loved my little cake with plastic balloons on top. As you can see the entire highchair was covered. I even managed to get cake on one of the cats! GO ME! I got a new truck with lots of buttons and people and car on it. I also got a “hello” (plastic talking beeping telephone!). I LOVE the “hello”! hehe

So happy birthday to me! I am not that happy but we will pretend for today that I am. I am cutting tooth #5 and tooth #6 is starting to poke through too! I still don’t sleep well… AT ALL! Mom is optimistic that once these teeth are through I will be better. Hmmm, maybe?!

I have been enjoying playing in the backyard with Breighton in the evenings. I enjoy sweeping everything. Sorry this is a fuzzy picture but Mommy’s camera phone is wonkie!

I also have discovered SAND! Sand glorious sand! Oddly, I don’t eat it… just rub it all over my head!

Breighton and I go to Tot Shabbat at Breighton’s school once a month. I have a good time eating the yummy food, singing the songs and getting to run around.

We had a puppet show this month. Breighton was off running with his friends in the back of the room but I enjoyed the show!

Okay, this is not even funny. I am done with my antibiotics for my ear. Mommy was hoping I was going to return to my normal “up only 2 times a night” routine. NO WAY! Last night I pulled te “up every 45 min to 1 hour trick”. This morning I was a total crank-a-saur. Nothing was soothing me. Mommy was trying to tickle me upside down and spied tooth #5!!! So in 20 days I got 5 teeth!! How on earth is this fair to me? My poor mouth is in pain. I am not sleeping well. Hopefully #6 won’t be far behind and then I will have a break for a while.

I had my first run with finger paints today. I was very apprehensive at first and then I dove right in.

I did think painting with my feet was pretty neat.

It was a bit slippery. Mommy was there to catch me if I fell.

So, with my nice case of stomach flu, guess what my behavior is?  Play play play… come over to snuggle… and go *blech*.  I don’t go *blech* while playing.  I come over and ask for a snuggle and place my cute little head on your chest and then after 5-10 seconds make you change your clothes!

Gotta love me!

We had my birthday party a bit early this year because Grandma Susie and Great Grandma Barbara were down from Ohio for a few weeks.

Great Granny was a pleasure to have around. Even if she got sick over Christmas, it was still wonderful to have her visit.

I loved my time with Grandma Susie. She is fun to play with, when B is not trying to be the center of attention!

I am walking all over and extremely mobile now!
