Emmerson’s Journey

Um, I think something is whacked.  Or so Mommy and Daddy say.  I actually have one point of what they think is my bicuspid (first molar).  It’s actually erupted from the gum line on the side toward my cheek on the right side of my upper jaw.  It’s small, but it looks and feels like tooth enamel.  I have the same thing but not quite as erupted on the left upper jaw. 

It’s completely odd.  I have no front teeth, yet I erupt my first molars????  I’m chomping up a storm on them.  Anything that I can shove in my mouth I jam to the side and chomp down and grind. 

If anyone else has had teeth come in out of order, let me know!  Mommy doesn’t want to have to take me to the dentist and have me x-rayed to make sure all is well!

I enjoy sleeping when I can. But today it has been few and far between when I close my eyes. I crashed for all of about 10 minutes on the floor tonight.

Then I was awake and giggly… then cranky. It is day 8 with no poopies. Mommy said I BETTER go tomorrow!

I enjoyed some “sitting up” time.

I am trying to figure this out.

Thank goodness Mommy is fast to catch me when I fall!

The other day Mommy put me in a sitting position and I STAYED! Mommy and Daddy are a bit scared at this because it is VERY early. We will try to get Daddy to take a picture of it tonight!

At meal time I just stare and the food others are eating and smack my lips. Mommy said… maybe it is time to try a few.

I got to try PEAS! They were…odd?! I still like my milk.

I didn’t like them at first.

Yeah, okay, I didn’t like them at all.

The next day Mommy tried rice cereal.

That I LIKED!

I ate 3 tablespoons full and still wanted more! See the empty cup!!!

Oh yeah, I also got a jumparoo. I still don’t know what to make of it.

I like the spinning frog thing.

A lot!

Growing up too fast!

Mommy said she will PROMISE to help me by the end of the weekend to get some blogs posted. We have been very busy!

I had a wonderful time riding in the car all the way to Ohio. Of course there was the four hour period that I screamed my head off! I really enjoyed the cool weather and the fresh air. I liked meeting my Great Granny and her singing me so rather “banned” songs! (Not very PC!)

I did awesome on the flight home and slept most of the time. Mommy even got me to take a binki. Mommy had paid for a seat for me but ended up holding me the entire time because I was sleeping! After BOTH legs of the flights Mommy had people comment to her that I was so quiet they didn’t even know there was a baby near them. They were really thankful!

I am happy to be home and back to my swing. I took a 3 hour nap this morning and am very happy.

Well, here I am in OHIO! I am heading home this afternoon with Mommy. Just wanted to post a quick photo of my with Great Granny Allen!

Mommy will help me write more when I get back to Florida!

Just chilling on the patio watching Breighton and Mommy paint and do bubbles!

We had to go to the Dr yesterday because I had a funky diaper rash, I am fine! But I weighed in at 15lbs and 8oz!! Chunking up nicely.

Well folks the news is out. I am starting to flip. I am getting very good at tummy to back flipping and have gone back to tummy once. Look out world, I will be rolling soon!

Sorry this is a poor picture but the sun was bright and Mommy wanted to capture how well I support myself.

Tomorrow I am off on a road trip with Mommy to help Grandma Susie move to Ohio for a while to take care of Great Grandma. Then we spend one day with Great Grandma Barbara (Allen) and fly home with Mommy. I am going to miss having my Grandma Susie around but we are only a short plane ride away.
